Hello to all!!! In spite of the fact that it’s been a while since we’ve posted some new seasonal offerings, please rest assured that we haven’t forgotten about our commitment to continue to offer new and creative menus for all of you to enjoy throughout the year.
While our spring calendar comes to an end, we turn our attention to the summer months that loom ahead. You are all aware of the fact that despite my 15 years here in the valley, I am STILL adjusting to the unrelenting heat that the summer brings. To distract us all, I’ve worked out some new menus to help us forget about the soaring temperatures outside!
Aside from the warm temperatures, summer also brings a bounty of great produce for us to integrate in to our menus. Fresh berries, Washington State cherries and varieties of stone fruits like peaches, plums, apricots and nectarines are all in season over the next few months and have been featured in fun and different ways in our new menu offerings.
You’ll also notice that our menus are inherently lighter than the rest of the year. We will be showcasing more wraps and lighter sandwich fare instead of heavier saucy style dishes. We’ll be doing more grilling for the summer season instead of roasting, as the flavors of charred meats and vegetables and a welcome change for the next few months.
